What is a VPR file?
A .VPR file usually contains a VOCALOID Project created by YAMAHA. The VOCALOID software uses these files to save voice synthesizer data, melodies, audio settings, and lyrics.
However, a .VPR file can also be a 3D bathroom planning project for ViSoft Premium, a visual report for Viper or SoftVelocity Clarion, or a railway vertical alignment data file for Bentley Rail Track. Additionally, the Magix Vandal software uses .VPR for virtual amplifier presets using the standard XML format.
How to open VPR files?
If you know the origin of your file, you can open a VOCALOID Project file with VOCALOID5 or newer versions. To open 3D bathroom designs, you need ViSoft Premium. Because .VPR has multiple possible meanings, we strongly recommend using viewer.online/vpr to identify the actual format of your file.
Software and tools
viewer.online/vpr analyzes .VPR files to identify their exact format and creator software, shows which programs can open the file, and usually previews it. If your file is a VOCALOID Project, advanced users can also rename the file extension from .VPR to .ZIP and extract its internal contents using standard command-line tools or archive utilities.
Summary
Because .VPR files from YAMAHA use the known ZIP format, viewer.online/vpr can safely open and display them online, eliminating compatibility problems.
