What is a GWI file?
A .GWI file is primarily a GroupWise email message file. It is created by Novell GroupWise, which is an enterprise email and collaboration system. Users save emails, calendar items, and tasks as .GWI files. In some cases, a .GWI file is a GroupWise Database Shortcut File used by Novell software.
How to open GWI files?
The standard method to open these files is with the Novell GroupWise application. If you do not have this software installed, your computer cannot recognize the file. Modern operating systems do not include default tools to read these files.
Software and tools
viewer.online/gwi analyzes .GWI files to identify their exact format and creator software, shows which programs can open the file, and usually previews it. Because a .GWI file can have multiple meanings, we recommend using viewer.online/gwi to identify the actual format of your file.
Summary
Because most .GWI files use the known DOC format internally, viewer.online/gwi can safely open and display them online, eliminating compatibility problems.
